Framework
Transformation Outcome Tree
A model for connecting technology capability to workflow change, adoption behavior, operational metrics, and business outcomes.
When to use
Use this when a transformation claim needs to be tested against actual workflow behavior.
Inputs
- Technology capability
- Workflow change
- Adoption behavior
- Operational metric
Outputs
- Outcome hypothesis
- Measurement path
- Adoption risk list
Limitations
The tree does not prove causality by itself. It creates a clearer measurement path and highlights where evidence is still missing.
Model
Technology capability
-> workflow change
-> adoption behavior
-> operational metric
-> business outcome
Example Use
If a team says a tool will reduce manual work, the tree asks what workflow changes, what adoption behavior proves the change, and what operational metric should move.
